How fashai.fun works

fashai.fun is a trading app on Robinhood Chain. You can swap tokens, buy tokenized stocks from fashion, beauty and retail companies, and launch a coin of your own. Everything settles on chain, from your own wallet. This page explains what happens when you press a button, what it costs, and where the numbers come from.

Overview

The app has no order book and no pools of its own. Trades go to Uniswap, the largest exchange protocol on Robinhood Chain, or to a launch coin's bonding curve. fashai.fun builds the transaction, shows you the result before you sign, and never takes custody of your funds.

Trading

When you type an amount, the app looks at every Uniswap v3 and v4 pool between the two tokens that holds liquidity, and quotes every route on chain: the direct pools, and routes through USDG or ETH, the two assets most pools on this chain trade against. A route can mix versions, say a v4 pool into USDG and a v3 pool out of it. The best output wins, whichever pools it uses. Some stocks only trade in v4, so this is what makes them tradable here. v4 pools with hooks are left out: a hook runs its own code during the swap.

The quote comes from Uniswap's own quoter contract, not from a price feed, so it is the amount the pools would pay at that moment. You also see the minimum you will receive. If the price moves past your slippage setting before the trade lands, the transaction reverts and your tokens stay where they were.

Max slippage0.5%How far below the quote the trade may fill before it reverts
Deadline20 minutesA trade still pending after this is rejected by the router
50% and MAXFill half or all of your balance. With ETH a little is kept back for gas

Swapping ETH for WETH, or back, is not a trade. It goes straight to the WETH contract at 1:1 and costs only gas.

Stocks

Every stock here is a token issued by Robinhood on Robinhood Chain. Listing is checked by the token's bytecode, not its name: this chain has copies of popular tickers, some with pools that claim large liquidity and never trade. A pool is shown only when both of its sides are a real stock, ETH, or a stablecoin with real depth.

The Stocks page is a curated shelf of fashion, beauty and retail names, grouped by category. Each stock has its own page with a price chart, 24 hour change and volume, and a trade box. Names are added the day Robinhood issues them on chain.

Launchpad

Anyone can launch a coin. You pick a name, a ticker and a logo, add a description and links if you like, and choose what the coin trades against: ETH, USDG, or a stock such as LULU. The coin is created in one transaction from your wallet, so you are its creator on chain. Every coin has a fixed supply of one billion.

  1. 1

    Launch

Name, ticker, logo, pair asset. One transaction from your wallet.

  2. 2

    Bonding curve

Trading starts at once. Price follows the curve, 1% fee per trade.

  3. 3

    Graduation

When the target is raised, the curve moves its liquidity to Uniswap.

  4. 4

    Uniswap v4 pool

Liquidity is locked. The coin trades like any other token.

The bonding curve

A new coin does not need a liquidity pool to start trading. It trades against a bonding curve: a contract that holds the coin and quotes a price from how much has been bought so far. The curve is constant product, the same maths as a Uniswap pool, starting with virtual depth worth about $4,500. As buyers put in more of the pair asset, the price rises; when they sell, it falls along the same line.

1x4x8x12x0%25%50%75%100%Graduates at 12.25xShare of the graduation target raised
Price as a multiple of the opening price. Every buy moves the price up the curve and every sell moves it back down. The last coins before graduation cost about twelve times what the first ones did.

When the amount raised reaches the graduation target, two and a half times the starting depth, the coin graduates. The curve closes and its liquidity moves into a Uniswap v4 pool, where it is locked. From then on the coin trades like any other token.

StageWhere trades goFee

GraduatedThe coin's Uniswap v4 pool, through Uniswap's Universal RouterThe pool fee and the creator tax, which includes fashai.fun's 1%

A launch page shows the price, market cap, progress to graduation, and a chart. The chart is rebuilt from the coin's own trades on chain: every buy and sell is replayed against the curve, so each point is the exact price after that trade. The launchpad list can be sorted by newest, market cap, or 24 hour volume, also counted from on-chain trades.

Every coin launched here carries a 1% fashai.fun fee inside its creator tax. It is paid on every trade of the coin, on this site or anywhere else, before and after graduation, and a split contract sends it to fashai.fun and the rest of the creator fees to the creator. As a creator you can add a tax of up to 9% of your own on top. A high tax puts buyers off, so most creators keep it low.

Portfolio

Portfolio shows what a wallet holds and what it has done, read straight from the chain. There is no indexer involved: the app collects every token transfer in or out of the wallet and prices the balances with current market data. ETH shows as a balance, but plain ETH transfers do not leave a log on chain, so they are not listed as activity.

Prices and data

Two kinds of numbers appear in the app. Display prices tell you roughly what something is worth. Quotes tell you exactly what a trade will pay. They come from different places on purpose.

If a data provider is down, the app keeps showing the last good value. Quotes are never affected, because they are read from the chain when you trade.

Fees

Swaps made through fashai.fun carry a small fee, taken from the token you receive. It depends on what you trade. When the two sides fall into different groups, the riskier side sets the rate: a launch coin before a stock, a stock before everything else. The stablecoin rate applies only when both sides are stablecoins.

Other costs are not ours. Uniswap pools charge their own swap fee, shown in the route details. The launchpad charges a launch fee of 0.0005 ETH to create a coin, and each curve has its own fee and the creator's tax. Every transaction also pays network gas.

Security and risk

TopicHow it works
CustodyYour funds stay in your wallet. Every trade is one transaction you sign yourself.
ApprovalsOnly for the exact amount of the trade, never unlimited.
Permit2Uniswap's Universal Router takes tokens through Permit2. You approve Permit2 once for the amount, then give the router permission until the trade's deadline.
SlippageEvery trade has a minimum output. If the market moves past it, the trade reverts.
Launch routerThe fashai.fun router for curve trades is our own contract and has not had an external audit.

Launch coins are highly speculative. Anyone can create one, a listing here is not an endorsement, and most coins lose most of their value. Tokenized stocks follow the price of the underlying share, but they trade around the clock on a young chain, and liquidity can be thin outside market hours. Nothing on this site is financial advice.

Contracts

FAQ

Why did my trade fail?

Usually because the price moved past your slippage before the trade was included, or the deadline passed. Nothing is spent except gas. Try again, or raise slippage a little for volatile coins.

Why is the amount I receive lower than the price suggests?

Display prices are a reference. What you receive depends on pool depth, pool fees, the fashai.fun fee and price impact. The quote in the trade box already includes all of them.

Can I trade a coin after it graduates?

Yes. The same trade box on the coin's page switches to its Uniswap pool automatically.

Can I pair my coin with any stock?

With ETH, USDG and the stocks the launchpad accepts as a pair. The launch form only offers the ones that work.

Does fashai.fun ever hold my coins?

No. Trades go from your wallet to the contract and back in the same transaction.
